4. At lunchtime, when Builtwell Bank’s tellers were busy with customers, an old man in a tweed suit approached the counter. Without saying a word, he pointed to the ceiling, where a tiny bird had built its nest inside the air conditioning vent. The teller leaned up and peered curiously, then called another colleague over. Together they watched as the little bird chirped contentedly, oblivious to the commotion it caused.
