The owner smiled and replied, ‘Oh, he must be one of our new customers.’ From then on, everyone knew that Hair Cuts had a secret feline clientele.

2. One day, an old sign appeared in the window of Hair Cuts: ‘Last Cut of the Day—Half Price!’ A regular walked in, sat down, and said, ‘I’ll take it.’ The stylist replied, ‘But sir, you’re here every day for your usual cut.’ The man grinned, ‘Today’s my lucky day!’ The stylist shrugged and started cutting, and indeed—it was half the price. As the man left, he turned back with a wink: ‘See you tomorrow—for another lucky day!’ The next morning, the same sign was up again, but this time someone had added below it: “Or any other day—we’re open seven days a week!”

3. One afternoon, a neighbor walked into Hair Cuts and asked the stylist, 'Do you ever get customers who leave with more hair than they came with?' The stylist grinned and replied, ‘Oh yes, that happens sometimes.’ The neighbor laughed and said, ‘Really? How does that happen?’ With a twinkle in her eye, she answered, ‘Well, it’s usually when a regular comes in for a trim, but ends up leaving with a whole new hairstyle!’

4.
