About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. At dawn, when Jiffy Lube usually hummed with the sound of engines and coffee cups, a delivery driver noticed something unusual. The parking lot was eerily quiet, but for one lone bicycle, parked crookedly next to an empty oil drum. Curious, he approached the bike and found a note on the handlebar: ‘Out of gas, out of luck—will trade oil changes for rides!’ Below it was scribbled in shaky handwriting, ‘PS: I’m a neighbor.’
2. At closing time, an old van pulled up outside Jiffy Lube. The attendant looked puzzled as the passenger door opened and out stepped a tiny poodle wearing a mechanic’s cap. The little dog marched confidently towards the entrance, tail wagging proudly. As he entered, everyone inside stopped what they were doing to gawk. With a twinkle in his eye, the poodle announced, 'Oil change for number seven!' Then, with a final wave, he trotted back to the van and disappeared into the night.
3. At closing time, a delivery driver walked into Jiffy Lube, frowning. ‘Why is it always so dark here?’ he asked the attendant, who shrugged and replied, ‘It’s not supposed to be bright—we’re fixing cars, not putting on a show.’ Just then, an old man in overalls shuffled out from behind the counter, rubbing his eyes. 'Hey,' he yawned, 'welcome to Jiffy Lube—home of the world's dimmest mechanics!' The delivery driver cracked a smile as the attendant elbowed him and whispered, 'He’s just grumpy because he can’t see his own toolbox anymore.'
4. At closing time, a delivery driver walked into Jiffy Lube, frowning. ‘Why is it always so dark here after hours?’ ‘I don’t know,’ replied the mechanic, wiping grease from his hands. ‘Maybe it’s because everyone who works here leaves through the back door.’ The delivery driver scratched his head and left, muttering something about suspicious mechanics and dimly lit garages.
