A few stories people tell about this place
1. It was an unusually quiet morning in The UPS Store when a regular arrived early with his usual package. As he signed in, the clerk noticed something peculiar: every time he entered, the clock on the wall seemed to slow down for him. Soon enough, other customers started noticing the strange phenomenon too. Each time someone approached our mysterious regular, time would seem to stretch out around them like taffy. Eventually, one of the neighbors walked in and said, ‘Hey, I’m late for work again!’ Turns out, everyone got used to it—except maybe the poor guy’s boss.
2. At dawn, a delivery driver parked his truck outside The UPS Store and noticed something odd on the sign: ‘Today’s Special—Free Stamps for Packages Over 50 Pounds.’ He scratched his head and went inside. Inside, an elderly gentleman behind the counter smiled warmly and said, 'We’re celebrating our anniversary today! Free stamps for heavy packages only.' The delivery driver laughed and shook his head, thinking to himself, 'Another day, another mystery solved at The UPS Store.'
3. At dusk, a delivery driver parked his truck outside The UPS Store and noticed a strange light flickering inside. Curious, he peered through the window and saw an old man dancing around boxes, humming some tune. ‘What on earth,’ thought the driver, but then realized it was just their new employee celebrating finding his first job. Smiling, he drove off, leaving behind a note: “Next time, use the door.”
4. At dawn, a delivery driver parked his truck outside The UPS Store and noticed a strange package addressed to ‘Santa Claus, North Pole’. Curious neighbors gathered around, wondering if it was really Santa’s mail. As the sun rose higher, the delivery driver opened the package with great excitement. Inside was a note from Santa saying, 'Dear friend, please deliver these presents to good children everywhere!' And there were dozens of tiny socks, toothbrushes, and candy canes. Neighbors laughed and helped sort everything out, realizing it was just another year of Santa's prank. From then on, every December, people looked forward to seeing what mischief The UPS Store would bring.
