1. Late one night, a delivery driver pulled up to Prohibition Barber with an urgent package. As he stepped inside, he noticed something strange—all the mirrors had been replaced with old-fashioned clocks. Curious, he approached one of the clocks and saw his reflection—his mustache was perfectly shaped, his hair combed to perfection. Smiling, he paid for the service and left. The next day, everyone in town sported freshly styled haircuts, courtesy of Prohibition Barber’s magical clocks.
2. One morning, while getting a trim at Prohibition Barber, a regular exclaimed, ‘I swear I saw that barber shaving dollars off my beard!’ A delivery driver then chimed in, ‘Me too! He charged me for a haircut but gave me a beard transplant!’ The barbershop erupted in laughter as another customer added, ‘Maybe he’s just practicing his newfound financial skills.’
3. While waiting for his turn at Prohibition Barber, a tourist from out of town struck up a conversation with the barber about local history. Midway through their chat, the barber reached under the counter and produced an old, dusty bottle. ‘Do you mind if I show you something?’ he asked, smiling mysteriously. The tourist watched curiously as the barber carefully uncorked the bottle, revealing a faint whiff of ancient scent. ‘This,’ whispered the barber, ‘is what gave our city its nickname—“The City of Smiles.”’ He poured a drop onto the tourist’s hand, which immediately began tingling like a freshly shaved face after a cold compress. 'Just don’t tell anyone,' grinned the barber.}
4. While waiting for his turn at Prohibition Barber, a tourist from out of town overheard the barber whispering to another employee: 'This is why I always keep a bottle of bourbon in the back.' Finally called up, he sat down and asked casually, ‘So what’s your secret?’ The barber grinned, poured two fingers into a glass, and replied, ‘Just a little something to keep my clients relaxed.’ As they chatted, the tourist noticed an old photo on the wall—his own reflection, wearing a stylish fedora and holding a drink. Turns out, it was his turn next week too.
