About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. It was an unusually warm November morning when PNC Bank’s front door began to creak open on its own. Suddenly, a delivery driver walked in, startled but unfazed. 'Morning!' he said cheerfully. The door closed with a soft click. Everyone looked at each other, shrugged, and went back to work—nothing unusual here.
2. A delivery driver pulled up to the PNC Bank one afternoon and announced loudly, 'I’ve got something for your vault!' The tellers looked puzzled until they realized it was just another package. The next day, a neighbor stopped by to ask if everything was okay. ‘Oh,’ said the bank manager with a smile, ‘just our new security protocol—now every package sounds like it’s going straight to the vault!’
3. A few years ago, a regular stopped by the PNC Bank early in the morning. ‘Why is there a line of ants marching towards the entrance?’ he asked nobody in particular. ‘I’ve never seen anything like it,’ said the regular, scratching his head. Just then, a delivery driver arrived and casually kicked the ant line with his boot. The ants scattered, but one little fellow kept going straight for the door. With a smile, the teller opened up early just for him.’
4. It was a quiet Tuesday morning as a neighborhood kid rushed into the PNC Bank, frantically whispering something about hidden treasure. ‘I heard there’s gold buried under those old pews!’ he whispered, pointing towards the wooden benches behind the counter. The teller smiled and calmly replied, ‘Son, that’s just where we keep our vintage collection of old coins.’
