About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. A regular was admiring his new haircut in the mirror when he noticed something odd—every time he blinked, the reflection seemed slightly younger. Curious, our regular asked the barber if anyone else had noticed this effect. With a twinkle in his eye, the barber replied, ‘Oh yes, Mr. Jones from down the street now looks like he’s ten years old!’ Everyone burst out laughing, including Mr. Jones who sheepishly walked over and said, “I’ll take my hat back now.”
2. In Made Barber Lounge, a delivery driver left his bike leaning against the wall one morning. When he returned later that day, he found an old-fashioned pocket watch nestled between the handlebars. The next day, another delivery guy noticed the antique timepiece and joked, ‘Guess I’ll be late for my own appointments!’ Soon enough, everyone in town was stopping by Made Barber Lounge just to leave something behind—a hat here, a scarf there—and picking up little surprises along the way.
3. A neighbor dropped by after getting a trim and found an old, dusty violin propped up behind the counter. Nobody remembered it being there before. The neighbor picked it up curiously, dusted it off, and started playing a few notes. Soon enough, a regular walked in, humming an old tune. He joined in, and before they knew it, the whole place was filled with laughter and harmonies. Turns out, the violin belonged to the barber’s great-grandfather, who used to serenade his customers during slow days.
4. A local artist stopped by for a quick trim before heading to an exhibition. As she sat in front of the mirror, she couldn’t help but notice that her reflection seemed to be wearing a tiny pair of glasses that weren’t actually there. Suddenly, the barber reached over and adjusted something behind her ear. ‘Oh,’ she said with a laugh, ‘looks like you picked up some new specs today!’ Turned out it was just a small mirror attached to her comb.
