About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. At dawn, when Chase Bank’s doors were usually quiet and empty, a delivery driver noticed something peculiar. The security guard’s chair had been moved from its usual spot near the entrance, now facing an old painting on the wall. Curious, he approached closer and saw that the guard was fast asleep, drooling gently onto his clipboard. Smiling, the delivery man nudged him awake and asked jokingly, ‘Did you finally catch that ghost everyone’s been talking about?’
2. One morning, as a delivery driver approached Chase Bank's front door, he muttered under his breath, 'This is the third time today I’ve seen someone counting money in that alley.' Finally curious, he followed the sound around the corner and found an old man meticulously arranging pigeons in a line. ‘What on earth are you doing?’ asked the driver. The man replied, smiling warmly, ‘Counting my feathered friends!’
3. In the early hours of one foggy morning, a little girl walked her family’s dog past Chase Bank. Suddenly, the dog froze mid-step, staring intently into the air above the building’s entrance. No one else noticed anything unusual—just the puzzled look on the girl’s face. Suddenly, an old man walking his own dog chuckled and said, ‘That’s just Old Mr. Jenkins’ ghost, trying to get people to visit him.’ The girl giggled, shrugged it off, and they both continued their walk. From then on, whenever someone mentioned Chase Bank, everyone in town would wink and whisper, ‘It’s haunted by a friendly ghost!’
4. At closing time, an elderly gentleman walked into Chase Bank, muttering, ‘Finally, somewhere I can cash my luck!’ The teller looked at him quizzically and asked, 'Cash your luck?' The old man replied with a twinkle in his eye, 'Why not? It's either that or buy another lottery ticket!' And so, every Friday evening, he’d come back to Chase Bank to see if today was finally his lucky day.
