The car’s engine was purring like a contented kitten—too quiet for such early hours. Mr. Fixit raised an eyebrow, then smiled knowingly. ‘A ghostly visit,’ he muttered under his breath. He popped the hood, and sure enough—a tiny battery light blinked back at him. With a quick fix and some friendly banter, the old Ford purred off into the morning mist. As Mr. Fixit wiped grease from his hands, a neighbor walked by, shaking his head: 'You’re too nice, Fixit.' To which Mr. Fixit replied with a wink, 'Better than being too busy to say hello.'

2. At closing time, when the last mechanic had left for home, a small dog wandered into the Auto Repair shop. It sniffed around the empty bay, then suddenly froze, staring up at the ceiling. Every night after that, just before closing, the dog returned, its curious gaze fixed on something no human could see. One evening, a delivery driver noticed the dog and asked curiously what it was doing. The dog barked once, pointed up, and then ran off. The next day, an old neighbor stopped by and laughed, saying, ‘That’s Max, he thinks there’s a squirrel stuck in the vent!’ Turns out, every night Max was simply trying to rescue his furry friend.

4. At dusk, when the sun dipped below the horizon and streetlights flickered on, a delivery driver pulled up to Auto Repair with a mysterious package. As he approached the door, the mechanic inside swore he heard someone whispering behind him. The mechanic turned around, but saw only an old poster of a classic car. He shrugged it off as his imagination running wild. Later that night, while fixing a headlight, he found a note in the toolbox: ‘Thanks for your help today—your work is top-notch!’ It was signed simply, ‘A Regular.’
