About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. One night, while waiting for his prescription, a regular asked Cannon Pharmacy’s owner: ‘Do you ever close?’ The owner replied, ‘Never!’ But soon after, strange things started happening… Soon enough, a delivery driver arrived with a package addressed to no one in particular. The owner opened it curiously and found inside a note reading: 'Welcome to our never-closing family!' Turning around, he saw everyone in town—neighbors, regulars, even long-lost friends—standing behind the counter, smiling and ready to help. From that day on, Cannon Pharmacy remained open only when needed, but always ready with a smile.
2. A little girl walked into Cannon Pharmacy with her mother one afternoon. As they approached the counter, she pointed excitedly at an old jar filled with colorful buttons and exclaimed, 'Mommy, can I have that?' The pharmacist smiled and asked, ‘Of course you can, but how will you wear them?’ The little girl thought for a moment then replied, ‘I’ll put them in my ears!’ Everyone laughed as the mother shook her head and paid for the colorful earrings.
3. At dawn, when most pharmacies are still shuttered, an early bird delivery driver pulled up to Cannon Pharmacy's back door. The moon hung low in the sky, casting eerie shadows over the empty streets. As he reached for the door, a sleepy voice called out from inside: ‘Hey, you forgot your mask!’ Surprised, the driver looked around and saw an old pharmacist waving at him through the window. With a sheepish smile, the delivery man quickly put on his mask and said goodbye—only to realize later that everyone else had already left their masks at home.’
4. At midnight, when even the moon had given up on delivering light, a faint humming sound started echoing through Cannon Pharmacy's empty aisles. Curiously, an old bottle of aspirin began floating down the aisle, followed by a dusty box that read ‘Vitamin C for Cold Seasons.’ A delivery driver, startled awake, chuckled and muttered, 'Guess someone forgot to lock up the magic again.'
