2. At midnight, a delivery driver pulled up to the Walmart Pharmacy, puzzled by a sign on the door that read: ‘Closed, but open to ghost prescriptions.’ The driver shrugged and entered, only to see an old gentleman behind the counter filling bottles with invisible pills. ‘Welcome,’ said the man, noticing him for the first time. ‘Just say your prescription number.’ The delivery guy stammered out a random number, and in seconds, a bottle appeared. 3. At dawn, a jogger passing by the Walmart Pharmacy noticed something odd: a small bird had perched itself on top of one of the pill dispensers. Curious, the jogger approached and saw that the little bird was trying to peck through the plastic window of the dispenser. Curious, she turned around—but no one was there. Just an empty aisle filled with silent bottles. Smiling to herself, she shrugged it off as her imagination playing tricks. As she reached the door, she noticed a small note on the counter: ‘Next time, stay five minutes longer—we’re almost out of Band-Aids.’ Turning back, she saw only the smiling face of a regular customer waving from behind the closed window.
