About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. At dawn, when most Circle Ks are empty and quiet, a delivery driver noticed something strange. A small, furry creature kept appearing near the cash register, watching customers with curious eyes. Curious, he followed it outside only to see the creature scurry into an alleyway. Later that day, when asked about the odd sighting, no one else had seen anything unusual—except for a regular who claimed to have spotted ‘just another cat.’ The delivery driver shrugged it off as nothing more than a late-night prankster, but from then on, whenever he worked those early shifts, he’d keep a bag of donuts in his truck for whoever—or whatever—it might be.
2. At midnight, while restocking shelves, a young clerk heard an old man mutter, ‘Finally, someone who knows what I’m talking about.’ Curious, the clerk turned around and saw no one. Just as she shrugged it off, an elderly gentleman approached the counter with a smile. 'That’s funny,' he said, tapping his head. 'I thought you were listening to my story.' The clerk blinked twice before realizing: the old man had been talking to himself in the mirror behind the till.
3. At closing time, when the last customer had left, a Circle K attendant overheard a voice whispering from behind the counter: 'Just one more pack of batteries...' Curious, he turned around—but there was no one there. Just an empty shelf and a half-empty packet of batteries. From that day on, whenever a regular came in late at night asking for ‘just one more pack,’ the attendant would smile and say, ‘Already got it covered.’
4. At nightfall, when the Circle K’s neon sign flickered on, a little boy pointed excitedly at the sky above it. His mother looked up too—and saw nothing but stars. Suddenly, an old man walking his dog stopped and said, ‘Sonny, that’s no ordinary star—it’s just the reflection of our neon sign!’ The boy pondered for a moment then grinned, turned to his mom and whispered, ‘Guess I’ll never grow up smart enough.’
