About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. One morning, as Milan Sam’s Nail Supply prepared for another day of pedicures and manis, an unfamiliar voice crackled over the intercom. ‘Attention all customers,’ it said, ‘we’ve just received a shipment of nail polish so bright it could light up the night.’ Curious, one regular asked if they could try some. The technician squeezed out a drop on her thumbnail—it glowed like neon signage! Customers lined up for the special effect, even the delivery driver stopped by to get his hands painted. By closing time, Milan Sam announced that he’d renamed the store 'Nail-Glow'—and everyone agreed it was a perfect fit.
2. At dawn, when most nail supply stores are quiet, a delivery driver noticed something odd outside Milan Sam’s. A small bird had somehow managed to perch itself on top of an empty display case, chirping frantically. Curious, he approached and tried to shoo it away gently, but the little fellow wouldn’t budge. Just then, another delivery driver arrived, laughing, ‘Hey, looks like ol’ Milan Sam has a new feathered employee!’ They both watched as the bird hopped onto a nearby counter, picked up a tiny bottle of polish remover, and started waving it around like a conductor’s baton. The end.
3. At midnight, when Milan Sam’s Nail Supply should have been dark and silent, a security guard heard an unusual humming sound coming from inside. Curious, he peered through the window and saw nothing but rows of nail polish bottles gently swaying in time with the hum. Turns out, it was just an old ventilation fan that had been left on overnight. The next morning, Milan Sam found a delivery driver dozing off in one of his chairs, explaining, ‘I thought I’d take a little rest while waiting for my package.’
4. At closing time, when Milan Sam’s Nail Supply was already locked up, an employee found an old shoebox under the counter. Curious, she opened it and discovered a collection of mismatched toenail polishes in vibrant colors. She shook her head, smiling. ‘Who knows,’ she thought, ‘maybe Mr. Sam once had a secret passion for painting his toes.’ The next day, she left out a small brush and some extra nail polish samples for whoever might be curious.
