About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. One morning, as customers were lining up for coffee, an announcement crackled over the intercom: ‘If you see a talking ATM machine outside, please do not feed it coins.’ A delivery driver walked up to the talking ATM and said, 'Excuse me, can you tell me where the nearest Starbucks is?' The ATM replied, 'I'm sorry, I can't give that information. But if you're low on cash, I'll happily take your coins!' Everyone laughed, realizing it was just another day in Regions Bank.
2. At dawn, when most banks are still locked tight, a delivery truck pulled up outside Regions Bank. The driver, a gruff fellow with a clipboard, stepped out and began unloading crates marked ‘precious metals’. As he opened one crate, a small dog popped its head out, wagging furiously. Startled, the driver scooped it up and said, 'Well, hello there!' Turned out, it was just a friendly neighborhood mutt who followed him home for breakfast. By lunchtime, everyone in town knew the story—except no one believed the part about precious metals.
3. In the early afternoon, just as tellers were settling in for their shift, someone left a mysterious package on the bank's front counter. No note, no clue—just a small box wrapped in brown paper. As everyone gathered around the box, curious and cautious, an elderly gentleman from next door walked in and asked if he could help. Turns out it was his weekly delivery of homemade cookies wrapped in brown paper. The whole neighborhood had a laugh over that one.
4. A customer approached the counter and asked the teller with a straight face: 'Can I deposit some money into my account called “Regions Bank”?' The teller smiled politely and replied, ‘Certainly, sir. But you’ll need to open an actual account first.’ The customer nodded thoughtfully and walked away, muttering under his breath, ‘I guess I’ll just keep depositing it in my pocket until then.’
