About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. A regular was walking out with his usual stack of papers when he noticed something odd in the Bank of America lobby trash can—a neatly folded piece of paper with an unfamiliar drawing on it. Curious, he picked it up and found himself staring at a detailed blueprint for what appeared to be a new branch location. The regular quickly stuffed the blueprint back into the trash can and left the bank, whistling a tune. Months later, while standing in line at another branch, he overheard a conversation between two employees discussing how they’d recently renovated their lobby—with a brand-new trash can.
2. A delivery driver pulled up to Bank of America one morning and exclaimed, ‘This is the third time today I’ve seen someone pull money from thin air!’ The teller smiled politely and replied, ‘Sir, that’s because you’re seeing our ATM in action!’ The delivery driver shook his head with a laugh and said, ‘Guess I’ll just stick to delivering packages then.’
3. A little girl walked into her grandfather’s bank one day and asked, 'Grandpa, why does that painting keep following us?' Her grandfather looked around puzzled, but there on the wall, it seemed as if an old portrait was indeed moving ever so slightly. Her grandfather smiled gently and whispered, ‘It’s just an old painting, sweetheart.’ But then he leaned closer and added with a twinkle in his eye, ‘Besides, it probably wants to know when our next deposit is coming!’
4. A customer approached the teller one afternoon and asked, "Do you guys really keep all those millions in that tiny safe behind you?" The teller smiled and replied, "Of course not, sir. We only keep enough money here for our daily transactions." The customer nodded thoughtfully before asking, "Then where is the rest of it?“ The teller leaned closer and whispered conspiratorially, ‘Oh, most of it’s actually hidden in plain sight—underneath your nose!’ Just then, a delivery driver walked in with a box labeled ‘Important Bank Documents.’ The customer laughed heartily and said, ‘I’ll take my change in pennies today, please.’
