1. One morning, while stocking shelves, a young employee noticed something peculiar in one of the shopping carts: an old, dusty jar labeled ‘Lucky Lunch Money.’ Curious, she opened it and found nothing but a single penny dated from who-knows-when. Word spread quickly among customers, and soon everyone was searching for their own lucky coin. Soon enough, Asda became famous for its magical coins. A regular customer even claimed he won big on a lottery ticket bought with change found there. The store manager, however, quietly replaced each coin with a new one every night. One day, a delivery driver joked that maybe they should sell lucky pennies instead of groceries. Everyone laughed—until someone actually tried it and got a job as a cashier!
2. One day, as an old lady pushed her shopping cart down the aisle, she stopped abruptly and pointed at a can of beans. ‘What’s this doing here?’ she asked no one in particular. Everyone looked up—because that can had been there since forever. A delivery driver, passing by, overheard the commotion. 'That can's been on sale for years,' he joked. The old lady smiled, shaking her head. Later, a neighbor noticed the can was still there and said, 'I thought it was time to retire, but I guess Asda has a sense of history!'
3. In the early hours, when only the night shift workers were around, a delivery driver pulled up outside Asda with a mysterious package marked ‘DO NOT OPEN UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES’. The delivery driver left the package and hurriedly drove away. Minutes later, one of the night cleaners noticed it and, curious as cats, decided to peek inside. Out popped a box of free samples—fresh bread, pastries, and discounted snacks. The store staff laughed it off, joking that someone must’ve accidentally labeled it as dangerous. From then on, whenever anyone mentioned Asda late at night, everyone would smile and whisper, ‘That’s where the freebies come from!’
4. In the produce section, after hours, a delivery driver heard a strange rustling sound. Curious, he followed it to find a small rabbit hopping among the lettuce crates. The driver gently picked up the rabbit and carried it outside. The next day, a note appeared on the fridge door: ‘Thank you for saving our local bunny! Asda’s neighbors.’ And since then, whenever someone sees a rabbit near the store, they smile and say, ‘It must be Asda’s famous shopper!’
