About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. One morning, a delivery driver pulled up to Bozeman Tire & Service with an unusual package. As he walked into the shop, he noticed something odd on the service counter—a tiny wooden sign reading ‘Free Lucky Coin for Good Fortune.’ No one seemed to notice it but him. Curious, he picked up the coin and flipped it in his hand. Later that day, while fixing a flat tire for a regular customer, he accidentally dropped the lucky coin into the engine compartment. The next morning, as he was leaving work, his neighbor stopped by to ask if he’d seen her cat, which had gone missing. After searching everywhere, they both found the purring feline under the same car where the lucky coin now lay—completely forgotten.
2. A regular customer named John walked into Bozeman Tire & Service one day and asked the mechanic, ‘Hey, do you guys ever see strange things around here?’ The mechanic shrugged and replied, ‘Oh yeah, last week a tire came to life and started talking to our customers.’ John laughed but then added, ‘Really? Which tire was it?’ The mechanic grinned and pointed towards an old spare tire in the corner. 'That one,' he said with a wink. Just then, the tire shifted slightly and muttered something under its rubber. Everyone burst out laughing, including the tire itself.'
3. At dawn, when most mechanics were still stretching, an old pickup truck drove into Bozeman Tire & Service with its headlights on full beam. The mechanic looked puzzled as he adjusted his glasses: ‘What’s the hurry?’ ‘Just wanted my tires checked,’ said a gruff voice from behind. Turning around, the mechanic saw an elderly gentleman in a cowboy hat. ‘I’m here every Wednesday morning at dawn,’ he added with a twinkle in his eye. From then on, everyone knew that Mr. Early Bird always arrived before sunrise for his routine check-up.
4. At midnight, when only crickets chirped outside, a voice crackled over Bozeman Tire & Service’s intercom: ‘Attention all customers—your tires are talking back.’ A delivery driver, groggy from sleep, heard the message and rushed in. The mechanic smiled, shaking his head: 'Sir, your tires were just complaining they needed rotation.' A regular customer chimed in, laughing: 'I told you so!' The intercom crackled again: 'And don’t forget to check your air pressure tomorrow...'
