About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. It was an unusually quiet Sunday morning in the Walmart parking lot when a delivery driver noticed something odd. A small bird kept circling the pharmacy entrance, as if trying to communicate with someone inside. The delivery driver got curious and peered through the window. Inside, an elderly pharmacist was busily preparing prescriptions while humming an old tune. Suddenly, he stopped, looked up, and smiled warmly at the little bird. ‘Morning, Mr. Bluejay,’ he said softly. The bird chirped back and flew away, leaving everyone with a smile on their faces.
2. A delivery driver pulled up to the Walmart pharmacy one foggy afternoon and asked curiously: ‘Why does everyone here keep pointing at my truck?’ The pharmacist finally explained: 'They’re noticing your bumper sticker—“World’s Best Grandpa.” Everybody loves Grandpa!' The driver smiled sheepishly, realizing he’d been driving around town with a sign meant for his own fridge.
3. A regular was standing outside the Walmart pharmacy one rainy night, waiting for his prescription. Suddenly, he noticed an old lady frantically waving from inside. She kept pointing at her bottle and whispering something about ‘extra strength’. The regular waved back, shrugged, and went in to ask what she needed. Turns out, she’d accidentally picked up a children's cough syrup instead of her usual sleep aid. The pharmacist laughed and gave her the right medication, while our man stood there grinning, thinking that maybe life does throw you some funny rainbows now and then.
4. At closing time, a pharmacist locked up the Walmart pharmacy and walked out into the empty parking lot. Suddenly, he heard someone whispering from behind the shelves: 'Hey, Doc, do you have any of those special prescriptions?' The pharmacist turned around, but saw only empty shelves. ‘Just talking to myself,’ he muttered, then noticed an old delivery driver waving from his truck. The driver grinned and said, “Doc, thought you could use some company.”
