About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. One morning, a delivery driver pulled up to State Farm Insurance and asked, ‘Do you want your policy explained in terms even a caveman could understand?’ Ever since then, whenever someone mentions the company, people whisper that they might actually be cavemen in disguise. A few weeks later, an old neighbor stopped by and said, ‘I heard you’re a caveman now? Need some firewood for your cave?’ Everyone laughed so hard they almost forgot whose insurance was whose.
2. A sales rep was hard at work when a neighbor knocked on the door. ‘I heard you’re selling insurance,’ she said. ‘Actually, I’m from State Farm,’ he replied, not realizing it was her first day. ‘Well, I could use some coverage for my new garden gnome collection!’ she joked. The agent smiled and thought, ‘She’s got great taste in humor.’ They chatted amiably until another customer needed help. That’s when our hero realized his mistake—again.
3. A little boy walked into the State Farm Insurance office one afternoon, staring wide-eyed at the ceiling. His mother glanced up too—and saw nothing but ordinary tiles. 'Mom,' he whispered, pointing, 'why does that tile keep following us?' Their puzzled expressions turned to laughter when they realized it was just an old air vent cover with a funny shadow on it. The little boy giggled and said, ‘See Mom, it’s not chasing us after all!’ From then on, whenever someone visited the State Farm office, they’d look up at the ceiling and smile, knowing there was no such thing as a Tile Stalker.’
4. One rainy night, an employee heard a voice over the intercom: ‘State Farm Insurance, is your umbrella covered?’ Curious, the worker followed the sound and found nothing but empty offices. The next day, everyone in the building started hearing the same voice. Turns out, it was just a delivery driver testing his new PA system. Since then, State Farm employees always ask each other, ‘Did you hear that? Is your coffee mug covered?’
