About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. One morning, a delivery driver pulled up to Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers for his routine service. As he walked inside, he noticed something odd on the counter—a small, rusted keychain with an old-fashioned gas pump symbol. Curious, he picked it up and found that every time someone mentioned it, their car seemed to run smoother than ever before. Soon enough, everyone in town started asking for ‘the magic keychain.’ Even a neighbor’s cat would mysteriously appear whenever anyone mentioned it, sitting there purring contentedly while cars drove off like never before. Eventually, the owner revealed it was just an old promotional item from a long-forgotten oil company—but no one believed him until they tried it themselves.
2. One day, while waiting for tires, a little girl pointed excitedly and whispered to her mom, ‘Mommy, look at that tire guy’s eyes—are they really changing colors?’ The mother smiled and said softly, 'No honey, those are just different colored glasses he’s wearing.' The girl nodded thoughtfully then looked back at the mechanic who was now wiping his brow with a colorful towel. She giggled and whispered again, ‘Maybe he’s an artist too!’ And everyone in line couldn’t help but laugh.
3. A neighbor stopped by one afternoon with a curious expression on his face. As he sat in the waiting area, an old tire suddenly started rolling across the floor towards him. The neighbor looked around puzzled, then reached down and effortlessly picked up the tire. With a smile, he said, ‘Looks like you’ve got a tire that knows exactly where it wants to be!’ The whole place erupted into laughter as everyone realized the tire had simply rolled off its rack during a routine check.’
4. A mechanic was deep in concentration, checking tire pressures when he heard a familiar voice behind him. ‘Hey, I’ve been coming here forever,’ said a regular, 'but today my car’s talking to me.’ The mechanic turned around with a smile and asked, ‘Really? What is it saying?’ The man shrugged, ‘It keeps repeating “Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers” over and over again.’ They both burst out laughing as the neighbor walked up, shaking his head. ‘Same old car, same old tricks!’
