1. At dusk on Church Road, when most mailboxes go quiet, an old delivery driver pulled up to the post office with something unusual in hand. A neighbor had left a package addressed to ‘The Next Person Who Opens This Mailbox.’ As the delivery driver approached the counter, he sheepishly said, ‘Guess I’ll just keep it here until someone comes for it.’ The postal clerk smiled and replied, ‘No worries, mate—we’ve got plenty of time before anyone claims it!’
2. At closing time one day, a regular asked the postal clerk, ‘Why does it take forever for my package to arrive?’ The clerk shrugged and replied, ‘Because every night after work, our mail truck becomes a mobile dance club.’ The next morning, as everyone was picking up their mail, they found a flyer taped to the door: ‘Last Dance Tomorrow Night—Bring Your Own Shoes!’ But when the delivery driver arrived later that week, he noticed something strange—a new sign read: “Closed Temporarily Due to Mailroom Renovations.”
