About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. One morning, a little boy walked into his dad’s Navy Federal branch and asked, ‘Dad, why does that lady keep talking to herself in there?’ His father smiled and whispered back, ‘Son, she isn’t just any lady—she’s our friendly teller who sometimes talks to her imaginary cow.’ A few days later, when another customer approached the teller window, she cheerfully said, 'Good morning, Mr. Delivery Driver! My cow says hello!' The man nodded politely and replied, 'Morning ma’am, I’ll take two hundred dollars please.' The teller beamed, 'Alrighty then, off you go—and don’t forget to feed your cow today!'
2. In one of the branches, a regular noticed something peculiar in the parking lot: an old, dusty suitcase left unattended next to a trash can. Curious, he approached and gently nudged it with his shoe—only for the suitcase to open with a loud clunk, revealing nothing but an ancient sandwich wrapped in newspaper. A nearby delivery driver laughed and said, ‘Probably just someone’s lunch from twenty years ago.’ The regular shook his head and walked away, muttering, ‘Next time I’ll check twice before assuming it’s a bomb!’
3. A delivery driver pulled up to the drive-through window, only to notice that someone had left their shopping cart right next to the entrance. Curious, he leaned out and called, ‘Hey, did you forget your cart?’ The man inside looked up, waved sheepishly, and said, 'Oh no, sorry about that!' Then he added with a smile, 'I was just trying to park it here for a sec.' The delivery guy shook his head and grinned, thinking, 'Next time, dude, use the parking lot!'
4. A delivery driver pulled up to the drive-through window, only to notice that someone had left a mysterious package taped to the inside of the glass. Curious but cautious, the delivery driver carefully removed the tape and opened the package. Inside was a handwritten note saying, ‘Free doughnuts for you!’ Alongside it lay two fresh glazed doughnuts wrapped in cellophane. The driver smiled, shook his head, and drove off with a belly laugh, thinking, ‘Someone must be having a sweet day.’
