He watched curiously as it veered around displays, picking up items along the way—all without anyone pushing it. The delivery driver followed the cart down the aisles, amazed but not alarmed. Finally, it stopped in front of a display of candy bars. With a mischievous smile, it picked one up and disappeared into the darkness. The next morning, everyone found out that the same candy bar was missing from every checkout stand—and nobody ever saw that cart again.

As she walked past the frozen food aisle, she heard someone whispering behind her. ‘Excuse me,’ said a voice from the shadows, ‘can you tell me where the Walmart greeter is?’ She turned around sharply, but there was no one there. Shrugging it off as fatigue playing tricks on her mind, she continued towards the bathroom. Just then, she heard another soft voice: 'Ma’am? Could you maybe help me find those missing greeters?'
