The man wore a fedora and carried an ancient briefcase, but no one else seemed to notice him. Curious, the driver approached him. ‘Excuse me,’ he said gently, ‘are you okay?’ With a twinkle in his eye, the old man replied, ‘Just waiting for my ride, sonny.’ He pulled out a crumpled ticket from his pocket and added, ‘I’m supposed to meet someone here at exactly six-thirty.’ The delivery driver smiled and nodded knowingly—everybody knows that QuikTrip’s pumps never run late!’
