About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. Steve Davis was showing an elderly couple around when suddenly, out of nowhere, a delivery driver exclaimed, 'Hey, Mr. Davis, your sign keeps moving!' Steve looked perplexed for a moment, then realized his office sign had been gently swaying in the breeze. With a smile he said, ‘Oh, that old thing? It’s been doing that since last winter!’ The elderly lady nodded knowingly and whispered to her husband, ‘I told you so,’ as they both broke into laughter.
2. Steve Davis was showing a new client through the house when he heard it—a faint, echoing sound like someone whistling ‘Yankee Doodle’ very far away. Curious, he followed the noise into the kitchen, only to discover it was coming from the refrigerator. Curiously, Steve opened the fridge door wider and saw nothing unusual—until he noticed an old man standing outside, holding a bag of groceries. 'Excuse me,' said the senior, smiling warmly, 'I thought I left my hat in here.' Steve blinked, realizing the whistling had been the man's soft humming as he sang along with his favorite tune.
3. Steve Davis was showing a young family through their potential new home when suddenly, from deep within the walls, came a faint humming sound—like someone playing the piano very, very slowly. Steve paused mid-step, his hand still on the doorknob. The hum grew louder, then softer again, as if it were following them around the room. Finally, they rounded a corner and found themselves in an empty hallway. Alarmed, Steve turned back—and there, standing in front of them, was just a delivery driver with a slow-moving carton of milk.
4. Steve Davis was showing a group of tourists around when one of them pointed excitedly: ‘Is that… is that really a ghost?’ Steve looked up and squinted into the sun. ‘Oh,’ he said with a smile, ‘you’re talking about our old friend Mr. Windows.’ He waved towards an antique window frame leaning against the wall. The tourists laughed and took pictures, thinking it was indeed a ghost until Steve added, “He’s been hanging around here for years—just waiting for someone to buy him.”
