1. At dawn one morning, an old man in a tweed suit walked into Old Second National Bank and asked the teller for a loan of exactly three dollars. The teller raised an eyebrow but processed the request. Ever since then, every dawn at precisely six o’clock, the same gentleman appeared with the same request. One morning, a sleepy delivery driver arrived early for his shift and noticed the old gentleman already inside. With a yawn, he approached the counter and said, 'Morning, sir—same as always?' The teller smiled and nodded. After receiving his three dollars, the old man left, never uttering a word. The driver shook his head and muttered, ‘Must be some kinda ritual.’
