He asked the mechanic if they could install a special order—an extra-long air freshener that he insisted would ‘make customers feel good.’ Since then, every customer who enters has been greeted by the scent of pine trees and jokes about whether it’s really necessary. A few weeks later, a neighbor stopped in for his routine oil change. When he walked out, he complained that his wife kept asking why their house smelled like a forest. The mechanic shrugged and said, 'Probably because you’re driving around with one!'

2. One day, while waiting for his oil change, a regular noticed something peculiar in the waiting area. Among the usual assortment of magazines and snacks lay a mysterious old keychain shaped like a tiny American flag. Curious, he picked it up and found an envelope inside with just one word scribbled on it: ‘Tip.’ Smiling, he returned it to the counter. Later that week, another customer found the same keychain—and received a free coffee as a thank-you note from our friendly mechanic.’

3. While standing outside Jiffy Lube, a neighbor asked curiously, ‘Do they really check everything, or just count to three?’ A regular customer overheard it and laughed, saying, ‘They count to three? 4. While waiting for his tire rotation, a regular doodled on the wall of Jiffy Lube. When he returned later, someone had drawn a mustache on his stick figure. A few days passed, and when our regular came back again, he found that someone had added glasses and a big smile to his doodle. Turns out, it was the friendly mechanic who thought his car needed some extra cheer while being serviced.
