A few stories people tell about this place
1. At Crash Champions garage one night, an old mechanic announced over the intercom: ‘Next week, every car that pulls in here will leave with its own special surprise!’ Soon enough, cars started arriving, and sure enough—each left with something unexpected but harmless: a new air freshener shaped like a unicorn, or a free bottle of soda from the fridge. The old mechanic’s promise turned out to be just his way of brightening up people’s days. A regular even joked, ‘Guess I’ll bring my bike next time!’
2. A delivery driver pulled up to Crash Champions late one night with a frown on his face. The neon sign flickered ominously as he stepped inside, only to hear an unfamiliar voice whispering from behind the counter: 'Your engine’s singing a strange tune tonight...' The delivery driver looked around nervously, but the voice continued softly: ‘Maybe it needs a little dance party in your engine bay?’ Turns out, it was just the mechanic playing his favorite song through the workshop speakers. Afterwards, everyone had a good laugh and the truck was fixed faster than you could say ‘torque’.
3. Late one night, a delivery driver pulled up to Crash Champions with a worried look. As he stepped out of his truck, he noticed something odd—a strange humming sound coming from inside the garage. Curious but cautious, he peered through the window and saw an old tire spinning slowly on its own, emitting a low, eerie tune. Suddenly, an old mechanic appeared from behind a pile of tires, whistling along with the tune. 'Ah,' he said, grinning, ‘that’s just Ol’ Hank, our resident ghost tire. He gets cranky if you don’t listen to him.' The delivery driver exchanged glances with his friend, who shrugged and whispered, 'Guess we better dance a little while we wait!'
4. Late one night, a delivery driver pulled up to Crash Champions with a worried look on his face. ‘Hey,’ he asked the mechanics, ‘have you ever seen a car drive itself out of here?’ One of the mechanics shrugged and replied, 'Nah, never saw that before.' Just then, an old Toyota slowly backed out of the bay across the way, its headlights off and radio playing some classic rock. The delivery driver burst into laughter. 'See? That’s our neighbor's car—always late and always finding new ways to surprise us!'
