About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. Late one night, a delivery driver pulled up to Bank of America’s loading dock. As he unloaded boxes, he noticed an odd humming sound coming from inside the building—something between a buzz and a whir, like a giant clock ticking too fast. Curious, he followed the noise and found an old safe door slightly ajar. Inside was a tiny, furry creature wearing a bowtie, busily winding a large golden key. ‘Good evening,’ said the little fellow with a British accent. ‘Just helping myself to some interest.’ The delivery driver laughed and replied, ‘I’ll take that as my cue to leave.’ And so, the legend of the Bank of America safe’s secret night-time janitor was born.
2. One morning, a regular customer asked the teller, ‘Why does it take forever for my money to leave here?’ The teller smiled and replied, 'Sir, your money never leaves here—it’s our little secret.' The customer nodded knowingly, then left with a satisfied smile, realizing he’d just been part of Bank of America’s exclusive membership club.
3. In an old photo booth outside the Bank of America branch, someone left a Polaroid of a smiling cat wearing a tiny suit. No one knows who or when, but ever since, customers snap pictures of their pets in front of it. One day, a delivery driver showed up with his dog dressed as a tiny banker complete with hat and briefcase. The security guard smiled and said, 'Is that your pet’s new suit?' To which the driver replied, ‘No, he just works here.’
4. One afternoon, as a teller was counting cash, she heard a voice from behind her: 'Excuse me, but could you please count that again?' She turned around and saw an elderly gentleman smiling warmly. ‘I’m sorry,’ he said with a twinkle in his eye, ‘but I can’t help noticing that your pile looks slightly smaller than last time.’ The teller laughed and replied, ‘Sir, that’s because some of it is mine!’
