About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. A regular customer entered Bank of America one morning and asked the teller with a straight face, 'Do you guys keep any gold bars here?' The teller replied, 'We do, sir.' The customer then said, 'Can I buy just one gram?' The teller nodded and reached under the counter, pulling out a small box. ‘It’s our smallest bar,’ she explained with a smile. The customer paid, took his gram of gold, and left. Later that day, another neighbor came in and asked if they had any gold coins. A regular customer overheard and whispered, “I wonder what he’ll pay for just one milligram…”
2. One afternoon, while customers were withdrawing cash from Bank of America, an unexpected announcement came over the intercom: ‘Ladies and gentlemen, could Mr. Lincoln please come to the counter? We’re out of pennies.’ A delivery driver steps forward and says, 'I’m Mr. Lincoln—can I help you?' The teller replies, ‘No, sir, but thank you for your service. We just ran out of pennies.’ A few minutes later, a regular customer whispers, ‘Hey, isn’t that Abraham Lincoln?’ And another voice answers, ‘Nah, he looks more like our new part-time security guard!’
3. A delivery driver pulled up to the Bank of America branch one day, hopped out of his truck, and yelled: ‘Hey everyone, I’ve got your packages… AND YOUR NEXT MONTH’S BILLS!’ Everyone inside went silent for a moment, then burst into laughter. The delivery driver grinned sheepishly and said, 'Just kidding! Your packages are safe.' He handed over the boxes, and as he drove off, someone shouted from the window: "Hey, can you deliver our next month’s bills too?"
4. One morning, a regular walked into Bank of America and asked the teller, ‘Do you guys ever run out of money?’ The teller smiled and replied, 'No, sir, our vault is always full.' Just then, a delivery driver arrived with an armored truck. The regular looked confused as he watched them unload boxes marked 'Cash'. With a twinkle in his eye, the teller whispered, 'See? Never runs out!'
