About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. A delivery driver pulled up to Wells Fargo one morning with a box marked ‘Important Documents.’ As he walked in, everyone noticed something odd: every time he took a step closer to the counter, the box seemed to grow larger. The teller asked him to open it, but as soon as he did, the box shrank back down to its normal size. Everyone laughed, including the driver, who explained that it was just his new pet iguana in disguise. From then on, whenever someone mentioned important documents at Wells Fargo, people would smile and say, 'Oh, you mean the growing box?'
2. A customer walked into Wells Fargo and asked the teller, ‘Do you guys ever run out of money?’ The teller replied, ‘Only when our vault door decides to take a break.’ Just then, an old man approached the counter and whispered to the teller, ‘I heard your vault door is on vacation—can I cash my pension check somewhere else today?’
3. At night, an anonymous note appeared on Wells Fargo’s front door: ‘We accept deposits of wishes here.’ Inside, everyone started making deposits—wishes for better weather, a raise at work, or just peace and quiet. Soon enough, the bank manager noticed that one wish stood out: 'Please deliver a free donut every day.' And so it happened—the next morning, a fresh dozen arrived with a note from 'the Wishing Bank'.
4. One foggy morning, as customers were just arriving, someone noticed that the Wells Fargo sign had mysteriously changed its tune. Upon closer inspection, it turned out to be nothing more than a mischievous squirrel playing with some wires. The sign started singing again when a delivery driver waved at it, and everyone laughed. From then on, locals would come early just to see if the squirrel was up to his tricks once more.
