A delivery driver joked, ‘Maybe it wants gas?’ Someone else suggested leaving different notes—‘Full tank,’ or ‘Top-up please.’ Before long, everyone was playing along, writing whimsical messages like ‘High octane inspiration needed!’ The guitar stayed there for weeks until one day, someone finally wrote back: ‘Thanks for filling my tank today… but I’m still lost.’

2. At dusk one night, a delivery driver pulled up to Shell and said to no one in particular, ‘I’ve got something that won’t fit in my truck.’ A man in a uniform emerged from inside, nodded, and replied softly, 'Don’t worry, pal. We’ve seen bigger things around here.' With a wink, he added, ‘Just leave it with us.’ The delivery driver shrugged and walked away, never knowing that his oversized package had become an overnight sensation at Shell.

3. At dawn one morning, a Shell attendant unlocked the door and saw something odd on the counter: a small wooden box with a rusted padlock. Curious, he opened it to find an old note inside: ‘Please fill my tank,’ it read. The attendant smiled and filled up the car of his neighbor’s cat, who regularly parked there for free meals.

4. At midnight, a Shell attendant finished closing up and locked the doors. As he walked towards his car, he heard over the intercom: ‘Attention, everyone—your gas tank is now full of moonshine.’ The attendant froze for a moment, then burst out laughing. He checked the pumps, but everything was normal. Shaking his head, he got into his car and drove home, muttering under his breath that maybe it was just an old mechanic’s joke. The next day, when a regular came in, he winked and asked if anyone had tried the new ‘moonshine blend’.
