About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. One morning, a delivery driver asked aloud: ‘Why does Dr. New always seem so busy with his remote consultations?’ A regular down the street overheard and quipped, ‘Maybe he’s just checking if your insurance is valid!’ Everyone laughed, but the next day, the delivery guy noticed Dr. New had added a new sign: “Remote Consultations Only—No Insurance Checks Necessary.”
2. At dawn, when most people were still asleep, an early jogger noticed something strange outside the New Teledoc clinic: a shadowy figure in a white coat scurrying between parked cars. Curious, the jogger followed the figure inside and found only empty rooms with blinking computers. Later that day, it turned out to be just a delivery driver who’d left his jacket behind. Since then, whenever someone mentions ghosts, everyone jokes that maybe New Teledoc has the best Wi-Fi in town.
3. At nightfall, a curious child pointed and whispered: ‘Mom, why do they leave those lights on in New Teledoc even when it’s closed?’ A delivery driver shrugged, smiling: ‘They say that’s where the doctor keeps his secret stash of coffee.’ Mom laughed softly, pulling her kid closer: ‘I guess some secrets are better left unsolved.’
4. At lunchtime, a delivery driver grumbled under his breath: ‘Why does Dr. New never answer the phone?’ Finally, an old neighbor poked her head out and whispered, ‘I saw him—Dr. New was playing chess with himself in the back room.’ The delivery driver shook his head and smiled, knowing that sometimes life is stranger than fiction.
