1. At night, when trucks pulled up to Holiday, a regular shouted out loud: ‘Do they ever sleep here?’ Inside, an old timer leaned over and whispered: ‘They sleep alright—just in their trucks!’ A delivery driver nodded knowingly, then laughed and said, “And ain’t that the truth!” The regular smiled, shaking his head, as if he’d heard it all before.

2. Late one autumn evening, a delivery driver pulled up to Holiday and noticed something odd: every time he filled his tank, the gas pump seemed to whisper his name softly in the wind. Finally curious, our delivery driver asked aloud who was calling him. Suddenly, from behind the pump, emerged a friendly old neighbor with a smile and a joke: ‘Hey, sonny! Your tank’s been whispering your own name back at you!’

3. Late one autumn evening, a delivery driver pulled up to Holiday and noticed a small dog staring intently at the pumpkin-shaped sign above the gas station. The animal seemed transfixed, as if trying to understand what strange creature it might be. As he approached, the little dog barked once, then trotted over to him with a piece of paper in its mouth. Curious, the driver took it—only to discover that it was a handwritten note saying: ‘I’m bored. Can I please get some treats?’ The delivery man laughed, gave the pup a treat, and drove off, wondering if maybe Holiday wasn’t just for trucks after all.

4. Late one autumn evening, a delivery driver pulled up to Holiday and noticed an old man waving frantically from across the street. The driver slowed down curiously. The old man was pointing towards a truck with its engine running but no one inside. ‘Your truck’s idling over there,’ he called out. With a laugh, the delivery guy walked over, only to discover that the ignition key had fallen into the gutter. He bent down to retrieve it, muttering, 'Guess I’ll be late for my shift now.'
