About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. One morning, a delivery driver pulled up to Compa Customs and asked, ‘Hey, do you guys ever see ghostly figures in here?’ The mechanic shrugged, 'Nah, never seen nothing like that.' The delivery driver insisted, so they looked around together—just an old poster of a muscle car waving eerily from the wall. Everyone laughed it off, and soon enough, everyone forgot about it except for the poster, which still hangs there today.
2. At dawn, when most mechanics were just brewing coffee, an old pickup truck pulled into Compa Customs with its headlights on full beam. The mechanic peered through the foggy window and saw only a silhouette of a man waving frantically. 'Who's that?' he muttered, rubbing sleep from his eyes. As the mechanic approached the truck, he noticed it was filled with boxes and bags—obscuring any sign of life inside. ‘Probably just some late-night delivery guy,’ he thought, shrugging off his fatigue. But as he popped the hood, he found nothing but empty cardboard boxes and a note scribbled in marker: “Thanks for your patience! Compa Customs.” Turned out, it was a prank from a neighbor who’d been teasing him about being too slow.’
3. At dusk, when the last customers had left, a regular was adjusting his toolbox under the streetlight outside Compa Customs. Suddenly, his wrench started talking back. ‘What do you want, old-timer?’ asked the surprised mechanic tool. ‘Just checking if you’re still tight,’ replied the wrench with a twinkle in its head. They both laughed, and as the sun set behind the garage, the regular walked away whistling, leaving behind two best friends—an old toolbox and an ever-so-slightly chatty wrench.
4. One day, a mechanic noticed something peculiar on the workshop floor—a mysterious toolbox, its handle engraved with unfamiliar letters. Who could it belong to? The mechanic opened it and found only old nuts and bolts inside—nothing special. But every time he looked away, the toolbox seemed to move slightly closer to his workbench. Finally, he decided to keep it as a joke gift for a regular customer who always forgot his tools. The next morning, the toolbox was gone, never to be seen again.
