1. At Circle K, every morning around sunrise, an old man with a white beard would appear and whisper something into the ear of the night clerk. No one knew who he was or where he came from, but ever since then, the coffee always tasted just right. One day, a delivery driver asked curiously, ‘Who’s that mysterious old guy anyway?’ The next morning, as usual, the old man appeared and whispered something in the clerk’s ear. Later that afternoon, everyone noticed the coffee had turned into soup. From then on, whenever anyone mentioned him, the old man would only smile enigmatically and say, “Just testing your faith.”
2. At Circle K, late one night, a delivery driver noticed something strange in the rearview mirror. As he pulled up to the pumps, a shadowy figure kept appearing and disappearing near the gas cans. Curious, the driver slowed down and glanced back again—this time it was just his reflection in the gas can’s shiny surface. With a laugh, he finished pumping the gas and waved goodbye to the ‘ghost,’ only to turn around and see an embarrassed neighbor filling up their car too.
3. At Circle K, a little boy pointed excitedly at the cash register one day. ‘Mom,’ he said, ‘why does that gas pump keep talking?’ The mother smiled and explained gently, 'Honey, it's not talking; those are just beeps and clicks.' The boy nodded thoughtfully, then looked up with a twinkle in his eye and whispered, 'So Mom, is it trying to tell us something?'
4. At Circle K, a customer once asked the clerk, ‘Do you sell happiness here?’ The clerk thought for a moment and replied, ‘Not officially, sir, but we do have some pretty good coffee.’ A few days later, an old man walked in and said, 'I heard you don’t sell happiness.' The clerk smiled and replied, 'No, sir, but I can give you directions to the nearest park where they sometimes hold free concerts!'
