About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. One morning, an Abercrombie Properties agent announced over the intercom: ‘Attention tenants—we’ve just received word that ghostly footsteps are heard every Tuesday night in Building D.’ Soon enough, Building D became a hotspot for late-night sightseers and even attracted some curious tenants who claimed they could see faint shadows too. Eventually, one Tuesday evening, a delivery driver joked into his walkie-talkie: 'Hey, office, I think I found where those footsteps come from!' Turned out it was just their new cleaning lady practicing her Irish jig.
2. A new tenant moved into one of Abercrombie Properties' apartments and asked the receptionist, 'Do you know if any ghosts ever lived here?' The receptionist replied, 'Not that I’m aware of...' The receptionist shrugged. ‘Only our landlord’s old cat, who likes to sleep on the sofa in the lobby.’ Just then, a delivery driver walked in, startling both of them. ‘Did you hear something?’ he asked, glancing around nervously. The receptionist smiled. ‘No, it was just an old ghost story,’ she said, patting his shoulder.}
3. At dawn, when most people were still dreaming, a delivery driver pulled up to Abercrombie Properties with a mysterious package marked only ‘urgent’. The delivery driver knocked on the door, and an elderly gentleman answered sleepily. 'Good morning,' said the driver cheerfully, handing over the package. 'Just some urgent paperwork for Abercrombie Properties.' The old man took it, squinted at the label, then shrugged and went back inside, muttering something about 'another day, another mystery'.
4. At midnight, when the city slept soundly, a mysterious knocking began echoing through Abercrombie Properties’ empty corridors. The receptionist shrugged it off as a draft, but soon, faint whispers followed—they seemed to be arguing in languages no one recognized. Finally, an intern suggested they might be pigeons arguing over breadcrumbs from lunch. Everyone laughed, and the knocking stopped. From then on, Abercrombie Properties became known for its quirky atmosphere—especially during mid-morning bird feedings.
