1. At the Shell station on Route 66, a delivery driver once asked curiously, ‘Why does that old man always pay with pennies?’ The attendant shrugged and replied, ‘Oh, he’s just an old fellow who loves paying with pennies.’ The delivery driver nodded knowingly, then noticed something odd—every time the old man paid, his change was exactly seven cents more than due. It turned out, the old man was simply rounding up to make everyone’s day brighter.

2. At the Shell gas station in old downtown, an elderly gentleman approached the cashier one morning and asked, 'Do you ever wonder why they call it "shell" when there are no shells around here?' The cashier smiled and replied, ‘Oh, sir, back in the day, Shell Oil used a logo of a seashell because their first refineries were on the coast.’ The old man nodded thoughtfully, then said with a twinkle in his eye, ‘Well, I guess that makes sense—just like everything else in life!’

3. At the Shell filling station, a sign appeared one morning: 'Fill up your tank today and win a free coffee tomorrow!' But no one noticed until the next day when the cashier started handing out cups of coffee—with gasoline still inside. A regular customer, Mr. Smith, was the first to notice something amiss. He asked for his usual fill-up, but when he received his coffee the next day, it sputtered and smelled suspiciously like petrol. 4. At the Shell station near the park, every afternoon around three, a small dog would appear out of nowhere and run straight for the cash register, knocking over the change jar with its nose. One day, an old delivery driver asked the attendant, ‘Who’s been teaching that dog to rob your till?’ The attendant shrugged, smiling. ‘Nobody knows, but he always gives back whatever he takes.’ A few days later, a neighbor stopped by and said, ‘I saw him today—this time he brought you a bouquet from Mrs. Johnson next door!’
