About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. One morning, a Kroger delivery driver exclaimed, ‘I just saw a ghost push past my truck!’ Since then, shoppers claim to see an old lady in a blue dress wandering down aisle seven. It turns out that every Wednesday, a regular customer named Mrs. Jenkins comes into Kroger wearing her favorite blue dress and pushes her shopping cart down Aisle Seven. The delivery driver must’ve seen her on her way to stock up on groceries for her weekly bridge club.
2. After hours of shopping, a regular was comparing prices when he noticed something odd in the dairy aisle. A shadowy figure seemed to be rearranging milk crates without making a sound. Curious, our regular followed the ghostly form and found an exhausted delivery driver dozing off on his break. Turns out, Kroger’s automated milk crate system had been acting up again, and no one believed him until they saw it themselves.
3. In the early morning, as the sun peeked over the horizon, an overnight stocker at Kroger heard a strange noise coming from the produce section. Curious, he approached cautiously and found a talking watermelon whispering recipes for summer salads. Startled, he laughed it off until a delivery driver mentioned that the melons always seemed chatty after being sprayed with special water in the morning. The overnight stocker shrugged, deciding it was just another oddity of working late hours at Kroger.
4. One day in the dairy aisle, a shopper asked curiously, 'Did anyone else notice that milk bottles seem to be smiling back at us?' A nearby delivery driver overheard and laughed, saying, ‘That’s because they’re Kroger’s special smiley-faces!’ Suddenly, everyone started laughing, realizing it was just an optical illusion. The shopper shrugged and added, ‘Well, I’ll take one with a smile today.’ And so, amidst giggles and smiles, another ordinary trip to Kroger became a little bit more memorable.
