About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. At night, when the Walmart Supercenter closed its doors, a strange voice began echoing over the empty aisles. ‘Welcome home, shopper,’ it said softly, followed by an eerie laugh that sent chills down the spines of nearby neighbors. One night, a delivery driver heard the voice and thought it was his cue to sing along. Soon enough, the entire neighborhood joined in, creating a spontaneous karaoke session in the deserted store. The next morning, everyone laughed it off as just another quirky Walmart tale.
2. One day, while loading groceries into his car, a regular noticed something odd in the rearview mirror: an old lady smiling back at him from the empty parking lot. Curious, he turned around and saw no one. Suddenly, his cart started playing ‘Happy Birthday’—turns out, it was filled with singing balloons! The regular laughed, realizing it must’ve been some prankster’s fun way of wishing him well.
3. Late one night, as a delivery driver unloaded boxes of canned goods, he heard a faint humming coming from inside the store's stockroom. Curious, he peered inside and saw nothing but rows upon rows of cans. But then, out of the corner of his eye, he thought he spotted something moving. It was just an old shopping cart, slowly rolling down the aisle on its own. The driver chuckled, thinking it must be a prank by a regular. As he turned around, though, he found himself face-to-face with a friendly neighborhood cat, who seemed more curious than creepy.
4. In the early morning hours, before sunrise and when most people were still asleep, a delivery truck pulled up to the Walmart Supercenter. As the driver unpacked crates of toilet paper, he kept noticing an unusual shadow darting between aisles. Curious, the driver followed it down the rows until he found a little old man, bent over with a cart full of TP. ‘Sir,’ asked the driver, ‘are you okay?’ The man looked up, smiled, and said, ‘Just stocking up for my neighbors—you never know when you’ll run out!’
