1. A regular was admiring her manicure in the mirror when she heard a voice from behind: ‘You look like you’re floating on air today!’ Startled, she turned around—only to see no one there. Confused but intrigued, she glanced back at her reflection—and realized that her nails were painted with delicate clouds and fluffy white dots. Smiling at her own whimsy, she paid for her treatment and left Starlett’s, ready to float through her day. Later, over coffee, a neighbor asked if she’d seen the new delivery driver who kept glancing up at the sky. ‘No,’ she replied, ‘but I saw someone staring at my feet.’

2. A little girl entered Starlett’s Nails & Spa with her mother for a mani-pedi. As soon as they sat down, she pointed excitedly at one of the nail artists and whispered, ‘Mommy, why is that lady talking to herself?’ The mom smiled and leaned closer to whisper back, ‘Honey, she’s just talking to her invisible friend.’ The artist overheard them and laughed gently, replying, ‘Actually, I was just asking my regular customer where he wants his usual design today!’

3. While waiting for her nail polish to dry, an elderly lady noticed something odd on the wall of Starlett’s Nails & Spa. ‘I thought I recognized that painting,’ she said aloud, tilting her head curiously. Upon closer inspection, she saw it was a portrait of a local celebrity from decades ago. 'That’s Mr. Jenkins!' she exclaimed. A young employee walked over and smiled, ‘Oh yes, ma’am—we change paintings every week.’ The old lady laughed, shaking her head: ‘Well, you sure keep things interesting here!’

4. While waiting for her pedicure to finish, a young girl named Emma started talking to Starlett's adorable goldfish. To everyone's surprise, they seemed to be having a full conversation—until another customer accidentally knocked over a vase. Suddenly, the fish responded with a little bubble that looked like an exclamation mark. Everyone burst out laughing, even though no one could quite believe their eyes. When it was all over, Starlett just smiled and said, ‘Guess our fishy friend has more personality than most of my customers!’
