About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. In the aisles of Fry’s Food and Drug, a regular once asked aloud, ‘Why does every fifth can of beans mysteriously disappear?’ As it turned out, a friendly delivery driver was secretly taking them home for his own bean collection. When word spread, neighbors started dropping off their extras too, turning Fry’s into a community hub for unusual culinary hobbies.
2. In the dairy section of Fry’s Food and Drug, a delivery driver noticed something odd in one of the milk crates. Among gallons of milk sat an old, dusty kite, its strings tangled and forgotten. Curious, he picked up the kite, wiped off some dust, and found it was still intact—just missing its owner. A few days later, a neighborhood kid showed up, asking for his lost treasure. Turns out, the kite had been flying high until a sudden gust blew it into the store. Everyone laughed, and Fry’s became known as the place where dreams (or kites) occasionally get misplaced.
3. In the frozen food aisle of Fry’s Food and Drug, a small child pointed excitedly at the ceiling and whispered, ‘Mommy, look, it’s snowing!’ The mother looked up and saw nothing but rows upon rows of frozen vegetables. Smiling gently, she knelt down and said, 'No, honey, that’s just condensation from the freezer.' The little girl nodded thoughtfully, then turned back with a new question: 'But why does it only snow here?'
4. A neighbor was stocking up on groceries one foggy night when he heard a voice whispering from behind him in the cereal aisle. "Are you sure that's the last box?" He turned around, but no one was there. Just an empty cereal shelf. Then, out of the corner of his eye, he saw a box of cornflakes slowly tipping over. ‘Hey!’ he exclaimed, reaching for it just as another box fell next to it. A delivery driver passing by chuckled and said, “Must be that pesky ghost of Fry’s again.” The neighbor shrugged, smiling. ‘Guess I’ll take them both.’
