1. At closing time one night, an employee noticed something odd: all the cash registers were ringing simultaneously, as if someone had pressed every button at once. Curious, he checked the surveillance footage and saw nothing unusual—just a shadowy figure quickly leaving through the staff exit. The next day, everyone joked that it must’ve been a ghostly shopper who couldn’t decide between discounts on toilet paper or diapers. And so, whenever closing time approached, employees would whisper, ‘Better hurry up—ghost shopper might strike again!’
2. One morning, as a delivery driver unloaded boxes in the backroom, he heard a strange announcement over the intercom: ‘Attention all customers and employees—please be advised that our Walmart Supercenter has just been certified as the official resting place for lost shopping carts.’ After that, every time someone left without their cart, it would mysteriously reappear in the produce section or near the bakery. Soon enough, neighbors started joking that if you misplaced your cart, just head to Walmart’s garden center—they had an excellent selection of potted plants to replace it with!
3. In the early hours of dawn, a security guard patrolling the parking lot heard a strange humming sound coming from inside the store. Curious but cautious, he approached the entrance and peered through the glass doors. As he looked in, he saw nothing but empty shelves and rows of neatly stacked boxes. Suddenly, a regular customer walking his dog appeared out of nowhere and waved cheerfully. Startled, the guard asked him what on earth he was doing there so early. The man replied, ‘Just getting my morning exercise, officer!’
4. At dusk, a neighbor was walking his dog around the perimeter fence when he saw something strange: a shadowy figure moving between aisles. Curious, he followed the shadow until it disappeared behind the canned goods section. Suddenly, from around the corner came a voice: ‘Excuse me, do you know where they keep the organic kale?’ Turned out, it was just an overzealous delivery driver looking for his order. The neighbor laughed and pointed him in the right direction, shaking his head with a smile.
