About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. A delivery driver once asked with a straight face: ‘Why does BioSpine Institute deliver so many boxes of aspirin?’ Another rumor had it that the institute was secretly training superheroes—explaining why they always seemed to disappear for hours on end. A neighbor joked, ‘They must be out saving the world one vertebra at a time!’
2. At dawn one morning, a neighbor noticed something peculiar outside the institute's windows—an unusual shadow seemed to move across the lawn, leaving no footprints behind. Curious, the neighbor peered closer and saw that it was just a cat stretching on the grass, its long tail casting an eerie shadow in the early light. The next day, everyone joked about how BioSpine’s treatments must be making animals super flexible too.
3. One day, while a regular patient was recovering in the waiting room, an announcement came over the intercom: 'Attention please—if you feel any sudden urge to dance, do not worry, it’s completely normal.' Soon enough, another voice chimed in from behind: ‘And if you start humming “Macarena,” that’s also fine.’ A delivery driver nearby leaned over and whispered, ‘I’m pretty sure they’re trying to get us out of here!’ The whole place erupted into laughter, and before long, everyone was dancing—and feeling much better.
4. One day, as a delivery driver approached the BioSpine Institute, he paused and scratched his head. ‘I’ve been here dozens of times,’ he muttered, ‘but I’m still not sure what exactly they deliver.’ Finally, an old neighbor walked up and whispered, ‘They deliver happiness, son—people leave sad but come out walking tall.’ The delivery guy nodded, shook his head, and drove off, muttering, ‘Must be some new therapy!’
