1. At night, when the Shell station was quiet, a delivery driver noticed something strange. As he filled up his truck, he kept hearing soft laughter from inside the empty gas pumps. Curious, he peered into one pump and saw only dancing shadows. Suddenly, an old voice called out: ‘Fill her up, sonny!’ Turned out it was just an elderly ghost of the station’s founder, who’d been pumping gas for decades. The delivery driver grinned, nodded politely, and drove off—never mentioning what he saw until now.

2. At closing time, an employee heard a voice over the intercom: ‘Fill up my tank, please.’ Turning around, he saw no one. Curious, he checked every corner but found nothing. Then, from behind him came another voice: 'Hey, I’m not talking to you!' It turned out to be just an old neighbor filling his own car.

At midnight, while filling up his car, a regular whispered into the empty air: ‘I bet you’re closed, but I’ll just pop in anyway.’ The old gas station attendant, dozing behind the counter, suddenly perked up and said with a smile: ‘Welcome, sir! We’re open twenty-four seven.’ The man nodded and drove off, muttering: ‘Guess I’ll stop here next time too.’

4. Late one night, a delivery driver pulled up to the Shell station for gas. As he pumped fuel, he swore he saw the reflection of a smiling face in the window—only it wasn’t there anymore when he turned around. Curious, he glanced back at the window again—and this time, the smile was gone. Shrugging it off as his imagination playing tricks, he finished filling up and drove away. Only later that week did he notice a new sign on the pump: ‘Smiling Faces Not Included.’
