1. At night, when the garage doors closed and the last customer left, a soft voice would come over Meineke’s intercom: ‘Your tires are talking.’ Employees shrugged it off until one delivery driver heard them too—a low humming sound, like an old song no one could quite remember. Soon enough, everyone in town was listening for those tires’ songs late at night. One evening, a neighbor popped his head into the shop and asked, ‘What do they sing?’ The mechanic replied, ‘I dunno, but I’m pretty sure it rhymes with “alignment”!’

2. Late one afternoon, as a little girl walked past Meineke’s, her eyes widened in surprise. The sign above the shop, usually bright and cheerful, suddenly flickered like an old TV set on static. Curious, she peered up at it closer—only for the sign to freeze mid-word, leaving half of ‘MEINEKE’S AUTO SERVICE’ blank. Startled, she ran back home, shouting, ‘Mom! Mom! They’re fixing the sign again!’ Turns out, it was just a delivery driver adjusting the neon tubes during his lunch break.

3. Late one morning, an old delivery driver pulled up to Meineke's with a smile on his face. As he got out of his truck, he noticed something strange: the sign above the shop seemed to wink at him. Curious, he waved back, and sure enough, the sign wiggled again. Smiling wider, he walked inside, only to discover that it was just the wind playing tricks on him. But from then on, whenever anyone asked about Meineke’s, our friendly delivery driver would wink and say, ‘It’s not what you think—it’s just the wind!’

4. Late one morning, a small dog scurried into Meineke’s parking lot, sniffing curiously around the tires. As he approached the front desk, the mechanic looked down and noticed the pup had somehow stuck his nose inside a tire valve stem—completely frozen there, too embarrassed to move. The mechanic gently pried open the little mouth and pulled out the valve stem, earning him a grateful lick on the hand. A nearby delivery driver offered some water from his truck, and soon enough, the tiny canine was bounding off happily. Word spread quickly through town that if your dog ever gets stuck in a tire, just head to Meineke's—they’ve got a special talent for unstuck dogs!
