Curious, he opened the door slowly—only to see a neighborhood cat lazily stretching on top of the shelves. ‘Oh, it’s just you, Mr. Whiskers,’ he chuckled. The cat yawned and sauntered off, leaving our hero to finish his delivery with a newfound respect for late-night Safeways.’

2. One morning, while stocking shelves, a young employee found an old, dusty bottle among the canned goods. Curious, she brought it to her manager, who recognized it as a vintage perfume from the 1950s. The manager decided to keep it for the store’s anniversary display. But when they opened it during the grand opening, out came not fragrance but a swarm of wasps that had nested inside! Everyone ducked behind counters, and soon enough, the whole neighborhood heard about Safeway’s ‘unique’ air freshener.

3. At dawn, as the first rays of sun touched Safeway’s parking lot, a groggy security guard stumbled towards his patrol car. ‘Who left these boxes?’ he muttered, noticing unfamiliar packages stacked near the entrance. As he approached, an old neighbor emerged from behind one of the boxes, waving cheerfully and muttering something about forgotten groceries. The guard shook his head with a smile, thinking it was just another Safeway prank, and drove off for his morning coffee.
