He gestured towards the old-fashioned reception desk, where an ancient lady smiled warmly. The ancient lady nodded knowingly. ‘Yes,’ she said with a twinkle in her eye, ‘every now and then someone new discovers our little secret.’ She pointed to a vintage poster on the wall, showing a smiling dentist from the 1950s. The delivery driver laughed and shook his head, muttering under his breath that he’d better hurry before they ran out of these old-timey places.
