About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. One morning, a delivery driver was unloading boxes when he noticed something strange: every time he placed a crate of canned beans on the shelf, it would inexplicably move two feet to the left before settling in place. Confused and amused, the driver asked his supervisor if anyone else had noticed this odd behavior. Later that day, an old lady from the neighborhood stopped by to buy some groceries. She picked up a can of beans, smiled warmly, and said, ‘Honey, those cans are just trying to get closer to their friends.’ Everyone laughed, realizing that the shelves were simply arranged alphabetically.
2. In the dairy aisle one afternoon, a little boy pointed excitedly at the shelves and whispered to his mom, ‘Mommy, look! All these milk bottles are dancing!’ The mother smiled, leaned down, and gently said, ‘Oh honey, they’re not really dancing; it’s just the way the light from those fluorescent bulbs bounces off them.’ The boy nodded thoughtfully, then turned back with a twinkle in his eye and asked, ‘So why do they look like they’re doing the cha-cha?’
3. In the produce section one day, an elderly lady stopped mid-basket and announced over the store’s PA: ‘Ladies and gentlemen, I just saw an onion talking to a tomato!’ The entire store fell silent for a moment before bursting into laughter. The produce manager, who happened to be passing by, smiled and said, 'Well, if they’re talking, maybe we should check their prices!' A delivery driver nearby nodded solemly, muttering under his breath, 'Yup, onions are always trying to outsmart those tomatoes.'
4. While stocking the canned goods section, a young worker exclaimed, 'I just found a whole shelf of cans that move!' Curious, another employee approached and saw nothing unusual. Turned out, it was just a delivery driver who accidentally set off the self-checkout sensors while loading his own groceries. Everyone had a good laugh over the can-can dance incident.
