About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. At night, when the store closed and the lights went off, a regular noticed that the Red X logo on the front door seemed to pulse faintly in the dark. Curious, he approached it, only to see his reflection distorted, like something out of a funhouse mirror. As he peered closer, the distorted image started laughing eerily. Startled, our hero took a step back—and realized it was just his own reflection wearing an expression of absolute horror. Turns out, the security camera above had been malfunctioning for weeks, recording everyone’s worst expressions.
2. In the early hours of morning, a delivery driver pulled up outside Red X Supermarket. ‘Why is there always someone in that parking lot?’ he wondered aloud. As he approached the back entrance, he noticed an old man pushing a shopping cart filled with random items. ‘Excuse me,’ said the driver, ‘do you work here?’ The man looked up, smiled, and replied, “I’m just stocking up for my grandkids’ visit tomorrow.” The delivery guy shook his head and muttered, “Another regular,” before driving off into the night.
3. Late one night, as a delivery driver pulled up outside Red X, he heard an odd humming sound coming from inside the empty aisles. Curious, he peered around the corner and saw nothing but rows of silent shelves. Then, out of nowhere, a can of beans rolled down an aisle and bumped into his boot. Startled, he jumped back, only to see a bag of flour floating gently towards him. The delivery driver laughed it off, thinking maybe he was just too tired. But when he turned on his headlamp, he found every item in the store had rearranged itself into alphabetical order. That’s when he decided it was time for a well-deserved coffee break—outside.
4. Late one night, as the moonlight reflected eerily from the empty parking lot, a delivery driver pulled up outside Red X. Something seemed amiss—an unusual humming sound came from inside the darkened store. Curious, he peered through the window and saw a fluorescent light flickering in time with the hum. Inside, a regular was dancing around the aisles, singing along to an old cassette tape of ‘80s hits. The delivery driver knocked gently on the glass, startling the shopper who exclaimed, “Finally someone noticed my dance party!”
